going price around here is around $700. i just ordered at stainless loaded yesterday, will take a couple of weeks to get. good luck to ya

I had also heard that the black stainless shows "wear" pretty fast, i do not know how true it is as i do not own one, just what i heard. Gander mountain had a parkerized loaded 1911 full size for 789, i thought that was a joke. once again good luck on your search!
