| What are the laws regarding selling a firearm? I know if you sell it online you have to ask for an FFL and then send it to the FFL, but what about if you set it up online and then give it to them in person? I ask because I want to sell something and I would rather just do it locally, but I want to get as much as I can for it, transfer fees make things harder to sell. Also, forum rules, could I post it in here, since I want it local, or must I use the equipment exchange? Its only a one time thing, one item. Thanks |

You need to post it in the EE unless you get permission from a mod or staff. Whats nice about the Ohio forum is you can follow the tacked thread and get the link to all Ohio EE ads. Im sure its checked by people here regularly. As far as I know any face to face gun sale is ok so long as the person your selling it to is allowed to own it and lives in the same state. |
