I have been eyeing one of those Walther P38 pistols for $ 239.95. I have seen them for $ 269 at my local gun store. Wouldn't make a bad 9mm to have. They also have the Walther PP .32 for $ 259.95. I wish I had an extra $ 500 to spend on guns.

I believe what you're refering to is the P1. It is not C&R. While it is not bad, it is not great either. I have one and it decided it didn't need its extractor anymore. From what I've read about them you shouldn't use hot ammo. Disappointing as I have liked the P38 family since I was a little kid.

Thanks for the info, I was thinking about buying one. But I think I'll hold off for awhile.
