OK this is coming up in a few different threads here so lets all get it into one. Who shoots it? The date is the first Saturday of the month from March to November rain or shine. Here is a link to the guy's site that runs the matches. Check out the videos. www.andersonshooting.com/videos.htm See you in March. |
| I'd planned on attending but forgot to check our race schedule. Looks like I'll be at Homestead in Miami that weekend. Kind of sucks as I just got my membership bits in the mail and have the equipment ( holster, belt etc.. ) all gathered up. Maybe next time. Best of luck. |

Jeff Maas and crew run good shoots there. I have not shot in almost 2yr, let my USPSA membership expire. I was a regular Miamisburg for sundays, and shot Circlevile 2 or 3x. Belt and holster with mag pouches on the belt. Take plenty of ammo, I used to take 200 in as eof re-shoot due to range malfunction/re-shoot. Go have fun, take your time if you are new shooter. |

I have had some question come up and for those of you who are going to try and attend the March 5th match. I have posted some need to know things. I hope all attend you will have fun. We can get an AR15.com squad going. Q: In the thread I believe you said to bring enough mags for a 40 round course. Is that the max it can be or should I get another more just in case? A: You can carry as much as you want. They have a rule known as Comstock rules (that is shoot as much as you like BUT the clock it ticking) Time is not your friend :) Q: As of this moment, I only have 4-10 round mags and only one mag holder. Is that enough? A: As far as the mags yes you can shoot limited 10 A: NO you need to have as many mag holders as mags. Now this is just me and I have never been called on it. I carry 5 mags One in the gun when ready to shoot and 4 on the belt Q: How much does it cost for me, someone who is just trying it out, to compete in this thing? A: First time shooter to PCSI is, I believe $5.00 or 6.00 bucks if you come to the next match it will cost 16.00 Q: What time does it start? Or more to the point, what time should I get there? A: Sign in starts at 9 am shooting at 10:00 you should try and be there 30 to 40 minutes early that way you can ask any questions and look at the courses before it gets rolling Q: How much ammo should I bring? 100, 200? A: Bring a minimum of 150 most are run in 100 to 120 rounds Q: Add any other info that you think is relevant please. A: Dress for the weather it can be cold in the early matches of the year. Hand warmers are you best friend. A: Holsters NO IWB holsters. Also if it has break you must use it NO SOB type holsters. I would recommend a Fobus or Uncle mikes Kydex Or even one of those Nylon $15 you see that guy sell at the gun show I hope this helps any other questions feel free to ask.
