Now that my daughter has "lost" her "LBF" (loser boyfriend) I have decided to celebrate her new status with an ARFCOM account for her, to introduce her to a better class of people(so quit laughing and be NICE!) Her user name will be "AshyBUG." I told her it's more like a family here than a forum so don't be too rough on her.  Even though she doesn't shoot much, she is right proud of her "pink AR." Her birthday is Dec 26 and she'll be 19 and she doesn't look like me. ("18 has been a long year!)

I am currently trying to convince her to brave the elements and join us for the "klondike shoot" at millers the 15th of Jan 2005 and once her account is up and running I'll spring for Team membership for her.

I am trying to lead my family by example. Two years ago I owned one AR and was a "member."  Since then, I have given both my children AR's for high school graduation, my wife & I are Team members, my son is a Team member, and I'm getting the daughter a Team membership for Christmas.  We are also a "Ten AR family." (I know that my wife just goes along just to please me, but hey, that's a start!)
Hessian-1out!

edited to add:  If anybody has any words of encouragement you can email her at [email protected]and "Be Nice!"

Note to TequilaBob from Callgirl:  PLAY NICE She's my daughter!

I welcome your youngin to the site, hope she finds in our little hobby what we do, friends, fun and community - and you're right there are good people here. Even tho the leghumpers are plenty in the GD side, that's just men in general, not specific to ARF.

My daughter is shooting now (she's 8), and I've been draggin the wife along too, so maybe someday they'll be here to post too.

Hopefully your daughter enjoys her rifle and membership. Theres nothing like owning your first firearm and an AR for that matter. Hope to see her at the shoot and make sure she checks out the womens forum.

She was at the spring campout wasnt she?
