I went there this afternoon, just a bunch of firearms. Has a lot of floor space, fella says he been working 4 month to open. Nice lighting, new carpet. Has nothing for reload supplies. On the north wall was a bunch of rifles, had 3 AR, 4-5 mags sitting there, and a bunch of ammo below. His ammo prices looked typical, had some Wolf, some surplus M2 ball, look like Korean, some 7.92, did not spy 7.62x51 readily. He said he is working on a transfer fee, maybe $30, undecided, sounds like he wants to be customer oriented. Had a bunch of pistols/revolvers in the cases along the east and south walls. We (me and the kids) were there about 1:15, as our Wendys Vandalia receipt is time stamped 13:31. EDIT---> Forgot, after Wendys, we went to Olde English for small pistol primers. |
| So this is the gun store I was told about last month. lol Hell I only live about 2 blocks from the place and drive by there 4 or 5 times a day and never noticed it. If it wasnt for the sign out front that said gun store open i would have never seen it. I will have to stop in there tonight and check it out. |
| Just got back from stopping in there. Nice place, especially if you knew what it looked like before. They have done a lot of work. Pretty sparse, but thats to be expected since they just opened. Decent prices. From the short talk I had with them, they seem like good folks. Hopefully things go well for them and they stick around. |
