10:00AM? You slackers! The doors open at 0900. Directions to the fairgrounds: FROM CLEVELAND AND COLUMBUS: Take I-71 to Route 18 West. Follow the signs for Route 18 through Downtown Medina. Take Rt 42 South, the fairgrounds will be on the right past the railroad tracks. FROM AKRON: Take I-76 to Route 3 North. Turn left at Route 42 South, the fairgrounds will be on the right past the railroad tracks. FROM THE WEST: Take Route 18 East to 42 South. The fairgrounds will be on the right past the railroad tracks. |
I like it, but then I never went to a gun show i didn't like. About the same size as Medina show, but a different group of sellers. Usually good deals on ammo and knives, guns are hit/miss. |
I don't know the answer to that question, but it was pretty darn thin at the Medina show today. There was actually room to move around and nary a trace of foul B.O. |
Smudge - close, but it's not an SAR-1, it's an Arsenal, Inc. SLR-101S. It's a Bulgarian AK with a milled receiver and comes with a U.S. stock set (looks like a K-var set to me). Very nice AK, although the stock FCG has already been swapped out for a Red Star Arms group. |
I believe "Pop's Place" is an Ohio dealer for Arsenal, Inc., so it wouldn't surprise me if they did indeed have a couple of them on his table. A bit expensive, but then again, with an SAR-1 going for $330 and a K-var stock set for around $90 plus whatever it costs to have a muzzle brake installed, it isn't that bad of a deal and the Bulgy AK's have some nifty extras like a spring loaded firing pin. (Plus, I've always wanted a milled receiver AK!) If you are going to GR next weekend, you're more than welcome to put some rounds through her. |
