Wanted one of these Navy carbines ever since I saw the ships security armed with them when a Navy vessel came into port in Long Beach.  The navy "builds" these by putting the LMT upper and stock on existing Colt lowers. So i went the same route.

RAW Colt Lower (correct)
LMT SOPMOD stock (correct)
LMT upper (correct)
16" LMT 1:7 Brl (Incorrect/Damn california SBR laws!)
LMT BUIS (correct)
KAC Rail (correct)
KAC vert grip (correct)
Surefire 6v light (incorrect tail cap)
Aimpoint CompM2 (correct)
Larue Mount (incorrect, should be wilcox)
KAC sling mount (incorrect)

Big thanks to my local kitchen table LMT dealer who gave me an unbelivable price on the LMT top half.

Nice.  My registered AW Colt lower is just sitting bare at the bottom of my safe.  I think I need to build it again.

I've heard it called a "sear block"

Its a steel pin colt put in the Sporters and Match Targets to prevent conversion to full auto.

Not to be a dick but:

1. Ship's security weren't issued MK18's, if members of the security force were standing watch with MK18's, someone was doing their own thing.

2. I had charge over our MK18's, IMHO without the SBR mod - it hardly resembles a MK18. This is not a ding at you personally, I know there are many guys out there who built up clones on incorrect length uppers. Just not the same.

3. Nice rifle!
