Thinking of joining.
Any opinions? How's their "reputation" overall? I'd like to find someone local to handle my FFL transfers. rich |
| Thumbs up. Friendly staff and mostly knowledgeable. The owner is a very cool guy. I don't know what their transfer fees are as I use Don Gussler out in Santee. P2K is the only San Diego range that I can think of that has a 50 and 100 yard range and will also let you shoot steel case ammo. |
| I thought of joining this place and ended up at Escondido Fish and game! The are much better setup than P2K they have three trap/skeet fields as well as a dedicated 13 lane 50 yard pistol lanes. They also have a 100 yard rifle lane with 15 stations and a 150 yard rifle lane with 15 stations as well. I also found them to be much better kept up and the membership is much much cheaper! Just my two cents on the place. I tried out P2K but found the kids that run the lanes to be less than knowlegable and kinda a bunch of punks to deal with! |

Appreciate the replies. I actually would love to join up (again) at Escondido Fish and Game - I was a member last time I was stationed in San Diego in the mid-90's. It was easier then as I lived in North County. Now that I live in South County, it's a bit of a drive. It would double my distance to P2K.
