A buddy has an AR-7 "survival" rifle that his FIL bought back in the 80's.
Its never been fired. Are these legal? I think I read somewhere that they are considered an AW. Does being a .22 preclude it from the AW BS?

It's legal. AWs are centerfire only.

Thats what I thought.
Maybe I read in GD that it was illegal. I did a google and didn't come up with anything.
There is so much BS floating around it makes my head spin.
