here in KA, is there a limit to how much ammo you can have in your home?

sorry for the weak search-FU - but I need a quick answer.

Thanks

Theres no specific amount quantified in the penal code that I'm aware of, although some city's have ordinances limiting you to a certain number of pounds of ammunition,  It's usually in the fire codes if such an ordinance exists.

The more the better. I love how the sensationalist anti-gun media loves to declare how an individual involved in a police visit has "thousands" of rounds of ammunition. Sounds so frightening and dangerous. Two bricks of twenty-two is a thousand.
Besides at the rate prices of things are going up a good supply is just a wise investment.

Ok good.  I came to the state with ammo cans FILLED with rounds that I had been buying and collecting from before the huge ammo price jump.  I was talking to someone at the bar the other night, and he said something about only being able to have X amount of ammo per caliber...  I was like 99.9% sure he was wrong...but just wanted to check in case I missed something when reading the laws.

thanks guys.

There were past efforts to pass such laws.
