Anyone ever notice the censorship that goes on @ calguns.net? Seems that they censor people's posts depending on either 1) it is a 'SELECTED PREFERENCE" OR 2) THEY ARE OVERLOOKING SOME, IN WHICH CASE THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS DOING IT IN THE FIRST PLACE! pf |

Start your own website and let people get as crazy and nasty as they want to be, that'll show them! It will also drive you nuts after about a month of all the BS that gets posted. The site belongs to someone, kinda like their house, if you don't like the rules you can go somewhere else. You don't have any rights there, if you have a b!tch take it up with the owner. |
I think he posted an image of a lady's chest. On the one hand it seems kind of lame to censor such stuff; but on the other hand grammaton76 makes a very good point that the mere appearance of a lady's bare chest on a work PC screen could be grounds for a sexual harassment complaint, in some places. |
Oh yeah, that's a big no-no on this forum too, not even in BOTD. Many members log in from work. Another FYI, I have seen posts such as this one you're reading right here locked before. There is an unwritten rule about not allowing gripes about other forum policies to spill over onto AR15.com. However, since ARFCOM STAFFER Paul posted here and didn't see fit to lock it, I'm letting it go... for now.

| There is no right to free speech as protected by the Constitution here or there. There are plenty of things you can say that will get censored here or even get your account locked. I don't know the sort of language that got you censored but typically if you result to vulgar language that's going to work there. Here we're a bit more tolerant but the same sort of level of language that you can use discussing a object will get you disciplined if you say the same thing about a member here. |

Yep. I learned a lot of what I know about current CA gun laws over at Calguns. Spent approximately 3 billion hours reading and studying all the information on that site and in this forum, especially around December of 2005.
