Back when the FAB10 and the Vulcans were the only game in town in CA, it was a choice between the sealed mag well, or mediocre/inconsistent quality pinned mag receiver (respectively). I am ashamed to admit it, but I actually have a pinned mag Vulcan. It is of decent quality, finish is adequate, and everything fits. However, from what I have read, I was lucky. With all the other off list brands available in CA, I would spend a little extra and buy the better brands. My Stag and CMMG receiver have a much better finish. In all fairness though, all my lower parts kits and uppers fit regardless of it being a Stag, CMMG or even Vulcan. |
