I coulda been! I was thinking about it but got roped into doing the BBQ for a party!

ETA: I heard the place was in jeopardy of being shutdown. Oddly, I heard it from an LEO out of the South Bay.

Yep, I was mistaken. He was talking about the one out in Rancho that's right across the street from that giant housing development and new shopping center. I can only imagine the level of bitching those people are going to do about the range sounds once the place starts populating and that shopping center opens up.

I get leery every time I go up to Sloughhouse and pass through Rancho Murieta on the way to the Sacvalley range. It seems there's always a new housing development popping up and they seem to get closer and closer to the range.

Sac Valley's a great place to shoot. Me and some buddies had a whole range (200yd) to ourselves. We shot, BBQ for the whole entire day.
