When was the last date one could legally buy a hi-cap in Kali?  And when did they start date stamping mags?

Oh, and by the way, HAPPY 4th OF JULY!

Magazines were stamped according to the 1994 Clinton ban. When the ban died last year, so did the stampings.

The last year to buy full-capacity magazines in CA was 2000 (or maybe it ended Jan 1, 2000, unsure)

I guess that means that I can keep three of my mags that are date stamped 1991.

Thanks.

I'm seriously thinking about moving to Neveda after I become a licensed therapist.  I know I'll have to meet extra requirements to practice there, but, at this point, I just don't see any other option.  I've been hanging in there doing everything I can in my power....but....it's just getting old....you know what I mean?

urbankaos04,
Why don't you just buy property or a second home in a free state.  According to the ATF, If you own property in another state and actually spend some time there, you can buy guns in that state.  I'm not telling you to bring anything illegal back to Cali, but a monthly shooting trip to your other home may be an option.  AZ or NV is only 4 hours from the LA area.  I don't know why more people don't do this.  A trailer in the Desert can't be that expensive.  Even If you have to go in partners with other gun enthusiest.  Once you have a residence, it's as easy as going to the DMV for an ID card.  I'm already living this dream with my recent second home purchase in AZ.  In fact, I just bought a safe today to bring out there that will soon be filled with AR & AK's.
