I thought so. Back in June, my son and I (from Connecticut) took a bolt gun session with you at Okeechobee on a Monday when the complex was otherwise closed to the public. Great day with the 308s at 100, 200, 330-350 (from the tower) and closing out with 500. I loved your "cheap" rifle and hated the club's Remmie with that triangular barrel and Leica glass. My son is still talking about closing out the day with the 50 Barrett at $500.

Anyway, I have been meaning to reach out to you about a build I would like to start. Something similar to your rifle in both its simplicity and capability. If you wouldn't mind, please drop me a note via email: ctsheepdog at Gmail.com.

Oh yeah, I also owe you one or more AAR about our session and will get to that shortly now that you are occupying space in the forefront of my faulty memory.

Anyone else signed up for the Long Range Rifle Skills Development course at Manatee on Sunday? I'm looking forward to it! This will be my first rifle class ever.

This was my first shooting class of any type. The instructor taught us how to keep notes and dope on our rifles and worked on some trigger skills. By the end of the class, I was shooting sub moa groups with my 18" SPR and I was really pleased with the overall experience.

I look forward to adding a 308 bolt gun to the arsenal soon so that I can take the other long range courses offered at the Okeechobee range.
