Hi there,
I am flying over to MIA towmorrow to stay in Central Fl. (Sebring area), till the 21st., for the IPSC World Shoot at Universal Shooting Academy in Frostproof. I have been to the US quiet lot and its my 2nd. trip to Fl. I am looking for thinks to do you will not find in the tourist guide. Mil./LE./Firearmsrelated. I gont think that I realy need to see a range since I have 5 range days at the world shoot allready. Is there a good store within reach were I can get modern AK parts? My AR is ready but I need some stuff for my AK-Project. Any idea were I can take hands on modern AK´s in C-Fl.? Also, LEO who would like to trade a patch, a hat or talk "blue" are welcome. I know Mike at Vets Army Navy in Lakeland has AK parts and more modern AKs on his walls. He really, really like Germans so you might get a decent deal. There's also Tim's Guns in Winter Haven. Gunsmoke in Avon Park is good. Shoot Straight is hit or miss with AKs. There's a gunshow also happening in Orlando and you might snag parts there. Next weekend is Zombie Fest at downtown Lakeland, if you get bored. |
