Course Title: Defensive Shooting Class Date: May 28th, 2014 Time: 7pm-9pm Location: Basics: Range and Gun, 179 College Dr. Orange Park, FL 32065 Instructor: Shawn Marx (Law Enforcement Veteran, Certified Firearms Instructor, Tactical Rifle Instructor, Less Lethal Instructor, Shoot House Instructor and SWAT Team Leader) Cost: $25.00 Ammunition per student/ provided by student: 150-200 pistol rounds Required equipment: Handgun, ammunition, eye/ear protection, holster, and dress as you would be carrying a concealed firearm Prerequisites: Concealed Weapons Permit or an Experienced Shooter Class size: 10 maximum / 5 minimum Sign up: Email [email protected] to sign up for the class or if you have any questions for the instructor Course Objectives: •Situational Awareness and Tactical Planning •Drawing from Concealment •Target Discrimination/ Proper scanning process •Firing under stress/Tactical Target Engagement •Speed Sighting/ Point Shooting This course is designed to teach the student to the concepts and techniques currently being utilized by top shooters while carrying concealed.
