| It has seriously been raining for a good 18 hours up here in FWB |

One of the most annoying things about living in Florida is listening to people complain about the rain, heat, and humidity. No one made you open the thread or reply. Just looked out my window here in Orlando and saw some lightening. Hopefully we'll get some decent storms tonight! |

New to Florida , huh ?
A full aquifer is a blessing. May you get all the rain that you need. Not a blessing when you have an artesian well that starts dumping groundwater into your property...I've become a pro at installing french drains. And not cool when an 8ft high 70ft long railroad tie retaining wall starts bowing out from groundwater. One wet summer in the panhandle. |

| I love it! My lake place still needs about 2' to get up to around historical average levels. Bring it! My neighbor tells me it was about 4' higher and halfway up my yard back in the hurricane season of '05. At this height it actually overflows the highway and starts filling up the forest. Bring it! |

It's been raining almost every day in the OP/Jax area. I don't mind as it means the lawn needs less tending.
My riding gear rots out a bit prematurely but that's not a big deal. I destroyed a vintage leather jacket that way. It was all I had at the time. The way car drivers slow down when it's raining is a real annoyance as well. |
