Looking at going to Jax Saturday and returning to Tally on Sunday. The zoo is a likely point of interest. What is there in Freakville to do on a romantic weekend? New destination |

The Pirate Museum that opened up across from the Castillo is a good visit and not too cheesy. Kinda expensive. It used to be located in Key West but thy moved. They have a good display of artifacts and really bring the history alive.
Of course the Castillo de San Marcos is a must visit. They perform BP cannon fire reinactments at regular intervals on most days. Anastasia Island across the Bridge of Lions is the best beach (IMHO). I spent many a day surfing at what they call the "Blowhole" many years ago. There is an Alligator Farm (one of many all over the place) in St. Augustine that is a fun visit as well. There used to be an old Cuban in Old Town who hand rolled a variety of cigars and would bash Castro to anyone who would listen. He was kinda old the last time I saw him in the 80s so I don't know that he is still there but if he is, I am sure he still hates Castro! Have fun |

If you are still there - there is the little fort at Mantazs Inlet - very neat and the price is right - free There is a neat little buritto place next to Jacks bar and grill on A!A (west side of the road) and get come custard at Rita's Another great place is Flavors on King street for lunch or dinner, the roof top at the winery is a great place to hang out... A great place for dinner away from the tourist cround is Creekside There is so much to see and do - we just go down there to play all the time. I will post up some pic of my trip planned on Sunday - Should be fun - hanging out with a rurse that rides :) Red

We're just not riding over this weekend, because of the weather and the fact that she's new to that experience. |

Don't forget the St.Augustine Lighthouse. It was featured on an episode of Ghost Hunters and is supposed to be haunted.
REVEAL from that episode. |

Thanks to whoever it was that suggested eating at Harry's. It was expensive as hell, but that was the best damn crawfish etouffe I have EVER hung a tooth into. Weather was shit right up until the hour we left, just as I expected. Thanks for the suggestions and help, guys. |
