Anyone hitting up the PBSO range this month? I'll be taking my FN SPR to the 200 on the 21st.

I could be down for that.  How does it work, is it a first come first served type deal?  Would bring my FN PBR for some FN love!

Pretty much. It's a good range, the PBSO deputies are good range coaches especially at the 100/200 yard ranges where there are less 'tards.

Rules and stuff here.

Not the 2 times I was there. Complete assholes that seemed like it was punishment duty for them.

Were you the guys shooting over the berm at the 50? Because that really pisses them off. Whenever I've shot at the 1/2/300 the coaches were usually chill... the 50-yard is where they have to babysit the tapco-fucked AR15 & 10/22 crowd and they have a very short temper. If you're there first thing in the morning it's not too bad.

Like most ranges like that the coaches tend to identify "regulars" pretty quick and eye the newbies with distrust for a bit. Been a while since I went though so I hope your experience wasn't the new norm.

No 200. And being a RSO I know what I'm doing.  That was last year though. Never wanted to go back.

What time are you looking at, I'll need to check to make sure I'm off that w/e.  That is if you want to meet up....

Seems like any range, any day there will conflicts, I look at it as they have to deal with 85%+ (just a guess probably higher) of the shooters are d-bags.  So I never expect them to respect my knowledge/background since they don't know it.  I'm just there to shoot.  I can't stand rude people, but in today's instability, I don't let it get to me at ranges.  Don't mind having an a-hole RO dealing with the d-bags from sweeping the line with fingers on triggers etc. and occasionally barking something my way just to play the role.  (Go to Markham alot!) Yes, I've RSO'd with most every level of government and even the "well" trained men/women that carry a gun everyday do stupid shit.  Most of these morons don't respond to nice.  Hell, I lived in FL 20+ years, I'm used to rudeness.

Not going to cut my nose off to spite my face.  Where else to shoot 100+? Not a land baron and don't know any to shoot on their land, so for now; "Sir yes sir!"

If I go, I'll drop a PBSO name or two and at a minimum they may cut us some slack, but most likely they won't care!

I'd probably be there as early as possible, the 100 fills up quick, I assume the 200 will be worse. I've never shot on the 2 or 300.

Now... where to go once I'm dialed in at 200? I don't think the 300 is going to be open for awhile judging by the schedule
