| Team, I have a friend that just moved here from Texas. He has a Texas CCL. Does he have to go through the entire Florida process (training, fingerprints, etc.), or do they have a fastrack for current CCL holders from other states? |
| As long as he has his training certificate from his class in TX he should be fine. When I came down from TN they didn't care about my Carry Permit itself. I just thought they needed to get a copy of my actual permit from TN. They actually wanted my class certificate that I turned in back in TN. Luckily I had filed that away and brought them a copy. I had my CCW mailed a week later. |

Why bother with a new one until it expires? It is my understanding that if you are a resident of Florida carrying in Florida on an out of state CCW you are breaking the law.
