So finally after finishing my 7.5 spikes build I took it out to shoot some. Threw a mag in, released the bolt, pulled the trigger and nothing. Extracted the round and there was no strike on the primer. Tried again same thing. After me and my buddy took it apart to inspect, when he started taking the bcg apart it became apparent that there was no firing pin inside.
So yeah wow. Bought the bcg from a spikes dealer who's on this forum and I'm kinda mad about it, but whatever its just a pin. Soooo on that note... Anyone in fort myers area have a firing pin??? Travis how bout you?

| i'm not trying to come on here and complain, if anything i'm just mentioning something i overlooked that was easy to see. i did glance at the bcg and it was nicely lubed and looked good. should've inspected it a bit more thoroughly. i guess i'll IM him, i just figured since its such a cheap part it'd be easier to pick one up locally rather than having the guy ship out another one and wait. |
