I was in on the first Okeechobee zombie shoot. Having never trained in night shooting I could only guess as to what I needed. I chose an AR with an EoTech and a surefire mounted and a Beretta 92 with a TLR1 and CT laser grips. These choices proved beneficial because I shot the CoF at 11:30pm and it was freaking dark! The CoF was a long meander through the action berms with some props to give ambiance. It was really cool what they set up. The whole scene reminded me of a video game I have played so I made a spoof of it with the GoPro footage I filmed while shooting the CoF. I would do it again, but not in August! The heat and mosquito's were horrendous. At the end of the video I use the laser, I thought it was cool how well it showed up.  |
