Damn, sorry about your luck. I'd rather have my CC messed with than my debit card though. Credit card companies seem to be better at handling these kinds of things than your average bank.

That sucks but at least it's not debit. I got hit last year but it was my debit card....and surprisingly I got bank of america to put the $550 back into my account the same day I found out before I sent the affidavits in! I just told them I had bills to pay. No apple store here, but a couple of the charges were from the itunes store. :P

Just like the others said, good thing it wasn't your check card..My CC acct was stolen twice in a three year period. I rarely use my CC's so I didn't notice it for a few weeks and in total, they got me for $4700.00 combined between the two cards. One was in Japan and the other in Denver..

This is one of the few things that BofA is really, really good about, and one of the main reasons I haven't left them yet. The way I have my direct deposit set up, I don't get hit with any fees what-so-ever from them, and as long as I don't fuck up and overdraft an account, I bank for free. No loans through them, though.

You are a wise man.

Option #1: Use someone else's money (interest free for a month) with no risk.

Option #2: Use your own money and risk having it stolen from you.

For some reason, people still haven't figured this out...

Last week my wife call me at work..."did you order a big screen TV?"  Me. "no, we are broke why in hell I would buy a BS TV?"  Her. " well, UPS just delivered a BS TV" I told her right away " FRAUD, check the CCs,"  yep some asshole got a hold of her CC info and order a BS TV at Bobs TV but fail to change the delivery address. The worse part and the part that pist me off was, that when she called the CC company (bank of America ) they didn't want to cancel the CC because it was "just one incident"  The best card out there to avoid this shit is American express. They will call you if any suspicious activity and will cancel anything you tell them is not your right away with out jumping trougth  hoops. BOA wanted an affidavit sign saying we didn't order the TV and proof that we returned the TV.
