Just got back on after several months off. Found out I forgot to renew my membership - just took care of that.
Being unemployed sucks big time. Got laid off July 22f from KSC. Actively seeking work in the area but looking more and more like will have to move. Damn! |

Mechanical Engineer, worked on the boosters for the Shuttle for the past 24 years. I want to stay in mechanical engineer but I also wnat to stay in this area. I have applied for quite a few jobs but have heard back from only a very few. I had an interview last week that seemed to go pretty well for a spot at a small co in Titusville. I am hopeful.
Isaw a job that is almost identical to what I was doing, except on aircraft instead of rockets, unfortunately, it is in Texas, between Dallas and Ft Worth. I don't have a problem with that area, I just don't want to leave here. Keeping my chin up, just hope I don't get socked on it! |
