Like it says folks! Who all is local to Pcola, Gulf Breeze, FWB, etc? I might be able to host, depending on the crowd. I'm good for burgers, hot dogs, and a few gallons of local microbrew.
What would be ideal would be if someone has some land we can shoot on. Lots of room for activities. Thinking maybe the first or second weekend in December. Any takers?

Quoted: Quoted: How about we meet somewhere out in public the first time and then figure it out from there. Giggity. Helenback Navarre maybe (although I self-banned myself from there once)? Somewhere on Pcola beach? Downtown Pcola, ie. walk the bars? So you're encouraging us, *US*, to go places explicitly proscribed for us? ![]() |

We could always just use a public park. Milton/Pace, Pensacola and Navare all have them. Even with a public use grills. True that. This sounds like the best idea. Public park, or even the beach. Beach volleyball and grilled meat does sound kind of gay though.

Quoted: Quoted: In. Yall thinking range day? So far it looks like a public scouting mission first. Do you have a preferred range? Most of us here are ERML members. It may be a longshot and would probably require some higher than normal range fees, but I may be able to get the range I work at which has 800yds. |

I'm interested. I'm only intown 1 out of three or 4 four weekends. I usually shoot at ERML. May even be able to play host at my house with 2 or 3 month planning. Its in Cantonment though with plenty of room(not enough to shoot on ).This sounds like a good option. I'm an ERML member too. It would be nice to plan one down the road at your place, as Cantonment would be a quick drive from the range. |

Long range shooting, some tacticool runs in the pit or just pistols? Were not entirely set up for rifles yet. |

I would be interested in a range trip, not much into hitting the bars, though. For me December is real busy, though. Family time. Janurary or Feburary weather is usually great, cool and dry, and nothing much going on. Yeah, I don't really want to go bar hopping. More like a range trip and big outdoor picnic/bbq. We could make this like a montly thing too, depending upon attendance and reception. |

Well last time I talked to him that range was only going to be used to train military and leo. He said it would not be open for the public. Also stated that he has a huge shipment of conex containers that are going to be set up for MOUT training. |

Also stated that he has a huge shipment of conex containers that are going to be set up for MOUT training. Too much liability and expense to go public. As such we generally charge $60 an hour for private range time. Yes, we mostly focus on CCW and military, but from time to time we do things for the general public. Just this month we did a fundraiser for Sheriff Morgan and a little girl's birthday party; so an ARFCOM party isn't exactly out of the question. |

Or maybe if we do a fundraiser where we have a flat daily rate and donate it to wounded warrior foundation or something similar. |

Quoted: Quoted: Let's pump our brakes a bit. We can start small and maybe occupy an eatery the first couple times. Exactly. If I'm going to meet any of you weirdos, it's going to be at a public place with lots of witnesses. ![]() Well, we know Starbucks is OC friendly (even though Florida isn't). That would be amusing. |

Well, we know Starbucks is OC friendly (even though Florida isn't). That would be amusing. True, although, theoretically, private property is property. I honestly wonder how bad they would freak out. The employees at the one on bayou by the mall seem pretty unassuming. Even recognized my blackwater t shirt.
Village Inn is pretty public, ERML even has their meetings there, but the food sucks. Same with Ihop and the awful waffle. A saturday or sunday brunch would probably be the easiest to satisfy everyone's schedule. Then, if all works out, we can consider a range trip to ERML. |

Still interested, you folks just keep working on the details. What do you mean, you people?
I'm really feeling either the sbux or ihop in gulf breeze. Either is out of Pcola, so that's a little more fair for the FWB and beyond people. (FWB go west on 98, Milton come down the toll bridge and across 98) And from gulf breeze, its a straight shot across the bridge, up scenic, and across I-10 to ERML for anyone so inclined, should breakfast/coffee go well. ETA: I'd be in for something this sunday am. Simple meet and greet with coffee and then whatever. I spend a lot of money at the sbux by the mall, maybe if we schedule, OC might be an option. |

Yeah, I don't want to test it either, but I figure if we get with them on subsequent meetings, then theoretically its a private property issue, ie. like with jay's (assholes) allowing their employees OC. Business/property owner's discretion. No big deal, but would be cool one day. In any case, we should all just plan on a starbucks meeting somewhere, specific location and date still to be specified. I'm pimping for this weekend because I want to try my glock 36 with the new truglo tfo's on it. That, and if we mave multiple potential attendees, I might get off my ass and load for my Krag. |

Everybody I know, has Thu and Fri off. Yeah, but my boss is a federal contractor. They pride themselves on being indian, ie. casino kind. They're weird about federal holidays. Some, like Columbus Day, are days of mourning. Others are more like stick it to whitey day. I guess I'll see.
