| Has anyone here sold anything over there? I generally like to sell/buy guns FTF, but since they have no feedback (that I have seen) do you end up with a lot of flakes? I was thinking of posting my TRP over there but really don't want to deal with a bunch of nonsense. |
| I've sold about 3 guns on there It's pretty much Craigslist for guns, so there is a risk with any transaction. You'll get a bunch of people that will try to low ball you, and I've had a couple people welch, but overall, I've sold everything I've ever listed on there. |

I'll just leave it on the EE. A wise decision. |
| I posted there a couple times but won't any more. Tons of ridiculously low offers and the one "deal" I made I drove 40 miles to meet the guy and he never shows or answers/returns my call again. I have bought a couple things off of there, both pretty much local but I wouldn't try selling there. |

I've seen a lot of flakes and amateur "dealers" on that site. Florida Shooters Network has a real stand up member base, I've always had good experience there, and here on the EE without a doubt.
You'll find most people trying to sell things will cross post to every site the frequent so you'll see most of the same items everywhere. FGT is the craigslist of guns for FL, like mentioned above, so you never know who you're dealing with. I see more insanity there than gunbroker. |

I had one buy go well. Another I went to see the shotgun and it was described as 99% yet had rust pits everywhere. I responded to two trade ads. One was a confirmed felon and one suspected. I've had one no-show ...
I'll keep checking the site for deals but will never go out of my way to meet a seller again. I will also require a bill of sale and CWL for every deal I will do over there. |

I had a good experience buying a 44 Mag from a guy in Ft. Myers. Met him halfway in Clewiston, exchanged cash for the gun, shook hands and that was it. I got a handgun that was bought new by him and sat in his safe for a couple of years. It was cleary never fired. Exactly as stated in the ad.
There are still some honest people out there. |

I've seen several items described as like new being in good condition at best and some that were junk.
Anything that has collectable, old or classic in the description is usually a junk. I'm sure there are some good sellers and reasonable priced items but I haven't had much luck finding them. |
