went out there on sunday had a blast as usual survey stakes are in and there expanding the rifle gallery to 1000 yards looking for long range shooting in s. fla here it is.No i do not work there just like having a good range that treats you well and is 45 minutes of my house.

Am a member there, about a 55 minute drive, but a hell of a good place to shoot. Constantly improving and adding good things.

It's like a hour & 45 for me. I want to go check it out soon. Question, Are steel plates setup at the long ranges? Or is it paper like the Sheriff range? Do I need/can I bring my own steel to shoot? How do people get out to the targets? Is is a walk or a ride?

Well i am not sure how they are going to get you to target for sure.But there is a gator type utv they have let me use that is set up to take target stands out so i am thinking that will be used,and maybe something else.They are procuring lots of steel for the range,and you could always bring your own if you like.I am guessing on this one they do 500 yard shoots now I am thinking that will move to 1000 when it is finished.

It's about an hour+ for me one way .... but i have heard nothing but good things about that place .... i have got to plan a trip out there.

Anyone run the tactical rifle corse know if I can shoot steel case 7.62x39 out of my AR15 there?

yes, you can use steel case ammo on the gallery and tactical ranges.

The long range rifle shoots (500 yards) are the 4th Wed. of the month, until they get the 1000 yard range open.

I'll be shooting the next one.

Haven't been there since early November. Past time to go back. Roughly 55 minute drive for me.

I will be there too. I am the guy that brings the 10 inch gong for 500yards. I have a new 6 inch one I will be putting up at 300 yards this week. It looks tiny.

You can shoot it on either of the gallery ranges (rifle or pistol).
