Okay, I searched through the FAQ and couldn't find anything about the non-res stuff.
For the acceptable training documentation can I use an NRA Basic Pistol Course? Thanks. |
| There is a resident or non resident, not sure what the poster above is talking about. I lived in KS and they just as of last year started taking out of state FL permits to carry there. Anyway, yes basic NRA class is good to go. Florida is pretty lenient I have noticed, my husband just said he was in the army for 14 years and that was gtg. |

It is the same card. The only difference from the point of view of the State of Fl is the address. Some states that have CCW reciprocity with FL choose to observe only Fl CCW with a Fl address on them. The state of Fl will honor any valid Fl CCW permit no matter what th eaddress printed on it is. There is not a different kind of CCW permit issued to nonresidents of Fl.
