So their prices are absolutely crazy.

I bought my Arsenal SGL20 for $650 from k-var.com and they wanted $1200 for an SGL20.  I can understand charging more for the gun.  I would say $750 would be a fair price for the gun in their possession and ready but....c'mon.

Has anybody bought from there?

The last gun I bought there was an M&P 9c which set me back $540; I don't think that was such a bad deal at all.

IMO they do right by their regular customers; at least I've always been treated well.

I try to get to their range, which is really clean, well ventilated and nice,  about once a week although I haven't been able to go since late January due to emergency quadruple bypass surgery because the recoil from my pistols would open me up like a lobster.

My cardiac surgeon, who knows guns and likes to shoot as well, says I can get back to shooting my center fire handguns and rifles in about 3 more weeks and my .22s in another week or so.

I can't wait.

ETA; I've been reduced to carrying a damned .32ACP for a while but in 3 weeks my M&P .40 goes back on my hip.

Yeah I heard they had a suicide recently.  Or is the lawyer deal a different situation?

They've had a couple suicides over the years.  I bought my first carry gun from them 8 years ago, an HK Compact 40 for around $550 and (still) feel it was  a good deal (it was used, of course).  It stinks that to go there now will cost you $75 minimum to shoot, but it IS clean and just a skip from my house, so I go anyway, though not regularly at all.   Mike is the owner, he knows his stuff, but his son comes across as just sort of "being there", and not really having the passion to run the business.
