I am getting a Chiappa M4-22, I already have a YHM Mite. Who in the Tampa Bay area to thread the barrel?
Thanks |

I've not heard of anyone in Florida doing threading who does it as a businesss, or on a regular basis.
I've used Tornado Technologies before and they do quality work. You might also want to call Hi-Desert Dog. They're good as well. You might find a machine shop who can do it locally, but personally I felt more comfortable just spending the extra shipping dollars than take a gamble. |
| ADCO seems to be the favorite of Arfcom when it comes to barrel threading, cutting etc. Check out their industry forum. I sent a barrel to them and had it back in less than 2 weeks. Quality work done fast and at a good price. If there are any local places, hopefully someone will speak up. If not, consider ADCO. |

Were it me, I'd send it to ADCO - but you will need to remove the barrel from the receiver or it will cost you additional (about $35) for ADCO to do it. Tornado-technologies is a great company and does superior work, but you may have to wait 2-3 months as they thread barrels in 'batches'. I've heard too many negatives from reputable people regarding Hi-Desertdog to recommend them. But as tony_k says... YMMV. |

Chris at Aquila does great work and turns it around quick. http://www.aquilafirearms.com/ |

He did a cut/thread for me and it was some of the best work I've seen...also think he does some of Spikes Tactical barrel work...but don't quote me on that. He's located in Apopka right by Spikes Tactical |
