Aloha y'all,

I'll be visiting Orlando this weekend for a conference and would like any suggestions for good restaurants. I'm mostly looking for southern-style cooking but will take all suggestions.

You have a bizillion choices around Orlando but it's a big place. You need to pinpoint
where you'll be, you wouldn't want to drive 20-30 miles just to eat. Not in Orlando,
Traffic is murder at times....

I'm staying at the Disney Coronado Springs Hotel.

I don't mind driving if the place is worth it.

Bubbalou's BBQ on Conroy off of Kirkman Road. A little pricey for a BBQ joint but pretty good.

If you like steak I would suggest Shula's Steakhouse at the Dolphin Hotel. It's just a mile down the road from Coronado Springs on Disney Property. It's pricey but the steak is excellent.

Go to Friendly's and get the BBQ chicken sourdough bacon cheddar melt. Then have a Forbidden Chocolate and HunkaChunka PBfudge sundae.
