Thinking about picking one up. How many of you have actually used one, and what are your feelings about it?

Got one 2 weeks ago. Just my opinion, but I think its a good idea. Its well made (its Magpul), doesn't get too much in the way of my trigger space (my original concern), and will make clearing a malf. much easier and I'm assuming faster as well. The only thing now is that I will have to retrain myself to clear a double feed using it, breaking of old habits is hard to do.

had mine about 2 months...I love it in conjunction with my redi mag...
Mind you I have an XCR that has a similar set up for bolt release right from the factory, so there wasnt much of a learning curve

Which redi?   I want one, but had concerns it wouldn't work/fit with my BAD

I have 2.
1 is on a AR with the original gen 1 redi mag.  On that one I had to adjust the position of the redi mag to allow the BAD to not rub against it. It was putting pressure on the bolt catch & preventing it from locking back on an empty mag. Once that was done it worked fine.
I have yet to test the 2nd AR I have with it. But I expect it to function the same.

Something I don't like is how loose the BAD makes the both release seem. I can wiggle the BAD in all directions because the mag release wiggles & is amplified by the BAD attached to it.

I don't have any range time on mine yet but this is something I noticed also. It's on an Anvil Arms lower and I haven't had any issues with tolerances on their lowers.

I use them on the guns they fit.  (They don't fit my billet lower and it doesn't seem to work well with a Vltor upper).  They are great - but you need to practice with them.  They are not very useful on bench guns, but good for tactical.  Some bolt catches have more play than others.  I changed some out until I found the best fitting ones.  I have one rifle with a redi mag that I ordered direct from them, very quick shipping.  They only make two types now - quick mount and regular mount.  Both function the same, just one is easier to mount.  They both drop the magazine independent of the rifles mag release.  The Blue Force redi mod is almost twice as much and hard to find.  I went with the redi mag because it was cheaper, available and I wasn't sure I'd like it.

The BCM Gunfighter charging handles with the BAD make a great combination!  One handed charging/clearing/releases are easy, no side pull on the handle at all.

If you can find one I don't think you can go wrong giving it a test.  They are cheap.

I put a BAD lever on both of my AR's and so far its sped up my reload times noticably. It took a few days at the range to retrain myself but its an advantage once you learn to use it.

I use one with a Redi-Mod.  No problems.
