I got in on a stripped lower sale from these guys and was promised they would ship by July or I'd get my money back. I have the gun broker ad saved. I am station over seas and have been trying to call and email them every chance I get and get no replys or answers. There address is below. I don't know if they are not answering because I have an international number but I am out almost $900. Can anyone help me out or know anything I can to to get my money back?

ETA: Correct phone number and website. There are 2 gunshops in FL with almost the exact same name. I am on my iPhone and have no acces to a computer so my info gathering ability is very limited.

Here is the last email I got from them :

Good morning to everyone receiving this email.  This email is going to  many many recipients who’s firearm(s) is (are) ready to ship, but who’s order is incomplete.   The incomplete portion of your purchase is listed below:

FFL license missing for shipment

Your purchase has been paid and is ready for shipping, upon receipt of the above listed missing item(s).

If you are sending your license via email, please insure that the following is the only text in the subject line of your email:

LRB RECEIVER FFL,  INVOICE# XXXX

where XXXX are the last 4 numbers from your invoice.  Without your invoice number as listed above, we cannot properly match your purchase to the FFL.  Email to [email protected]

If your FFL is being sent to us via postal mail, please insure that the invoice number is written on the FFL.  Also, please send us an email with the above requested text in the subject line and let us know that the license is being mailed out to us.  Postal mail the license to:  The Second Amendment Firearms, 15800 SW 102 Court, Miami, Fl. 33157

It is possible that in some cases, you may have already emailed or postal mailed an FFL to us, but if the invoice number was not on the FFL, we have been unable to properly match it to your order.

If you will refer to  www.militaryfirearm.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=11294&page=11 you will find a current thread with information on the status of orders, including yours.  If you are not a member of that forum, we welcome you to join and to report when you are in receipt of your purchase.  This forum is a civil and well managed gunboard with a lot of good, useful information and a wonderful group of people.

We look forward to delivering your purchase to your dealer shortly after we receive the missing item(s) for your purchase.

We also invite you to browse our website at www.shop.thesecondamendmentfirearms.com and look at some of the killer deals we have going on right now.  Our prices cannot be beat!

Thank you and have a great day.

I dialed both numbers from West Palm Beach - they both answer!

The voice number is answered by a live human, the fax number is answered by a fax machine!

You might consider having a local friend contact them for you...

A reverse phone number search shows that the voice number is a cell phone registered in Stuart, FL.
A reverse phone number search for the fax number gives an address of >>>
1851 SW Biltmore St
Port Saint Lucie, FL 34984-3420

At least they are still around...

Most cell phones I have seen have Caller ID (fwiw)...  and I agree that there is no reason (that I know of) to not answer if a phone number from outside of CONUS calls...  it is possible that the Caller ID on the cell phone can not identify the incoming call and gives no useful information - "incoming call", "unknown caller", etc...  When I called, I used a land line and allowed them to see my Caller ID info (and it was "local" - I'm about 40 to 50 miles south of him)...  Do you know anyone locally who can act as an intermediary to help resolve this situation?  If not, maybe an arfcommer from PSL will help out...

This website will give you a name to go with the (fax) phone number!...

ETA: Looks like their website is still up and running as well...
