Supposedly it's a European drug smuggling boat.

i'm pretty sure the ones in the middle are mounted way too low.  it looks like the exhaust ports are underwater which would lead me to believe 1 its a fake 2 it didn't last long if it was real

Looks far too short for all that power also.

ETA. I checked the snopes link and it looks much longer than it
does in the OP's pic.

Those would be some very expensive fish when you factor in the fuel cost!

Cost means nothing when it come's to the "sport" of things.   The meat is just a plus

Cost of a well equiped boat to go to the Middle Ground  $125000.00
Cost of Bait,  ice , fuel and nitrox fills  for 1 trip  $1000.00
Spending 48 HRS. off shore with people you know and trust while catching the biggest  fish and bugs of your life ==   PRICELESS

That thing got caught running drugs on the English channel, proving an old saying right again. You may be able to outrun a vehicle (or in this case a craft) but you're not out running the radio.

That reminds me... one time a friend let me take his Viper for a spin, so a few days after, I was telling my dad, that I had driven that thing at an undisclosed speed at an undisclosed road, and my dad says: "You are aware of the fact that the police have helicopters, right??"

Me: "Yes. As a matter of fact, it's sitting in our hangar with the transmission out of it, and all the radios on my toolbox..."
