Any laws on what type of ammo you can carry for cc protection? I only ask because for work we cannot use +p ammo or fmj but for off duty protection not under company regs and laws, I wonder if there are limits for +p or fmj?

Armor-piercing or exploding ammunition, dragon's breath shotgun shells, bolo shells, or flechette shells are prohibited.
+P, FMJ, hollow-points, etc are fine. |

I'm courious; How does exploding head bullets work? I know they explode when they hit what they are shot at, duh!
What is the mechinism behind how they don't explode when fired, or as they heat up down the barrel? any ideas on this?
Quoted:
Georgia Arms ammo is just fine... Even the canned heat line of ammo is just fine... As stated earlier Florida Law prohibits steel core handgun armor piercing ammo, BOLO, Fletchet, Dragons Breath and Explosive Impact Rounds... |

T Hunter, Any ammo round / bullet jacket that contains an explosive compound internally that upon impact will allow the jacket to detonate or explode is illegal... This is what it's referring too under FLORIDA LAW... Tracer rounds and Incinderary rounds don't count... Actual explosive compound filler bullets are illegal... Period... |
