Went to the Ft Myers, Arabia Shrine Temple, Lee County Gun Collectors show today. There was a lot of collector guns there, which I would have no idea of pricing. But every small S&W J frame I saw there was over $500.00 used. One person had a Glock 17 used $550. One person had Georgia Arms 223 reloads for $42 per 100.
So while we were in Ft Myers we stopped at Bass Pro Shop. There ammo was slim and 9mm Remington was $12.97 per 50. They had no 45 ammo. They had a S&W 638 for $457.00 new. So on the way home we stopped at Wally World in Sarasota, which always has ammo. They had a dozen boxes of ammo on the shelf. No Winchester WB at all. No 45 at all. The only 9mm they had was the Remington UMC Mega Pack. $49.00. The sales dude, that I have talked to in the past, showed me a email from Wal-Mart corp that said do not order ammo. They will send it as they get it. When does it end???????????

I went shooting with a couple of guys from work last weekend. On the way up they stopped at the Cattlemen Wally-wurld to pick up some ammo. 12ga .45 ect. the 12ga and .410 BS was there but like you said no .45. We ended up using what I had which was only about 150 rounds or so. Looks like I may be ordering some online.
