Out of curiosity, can anyone describe the envelope your CWP license comes in? Like it doesn't clearly disclose the contents on the front or anything, right? I'm trying to keep my roommate none the wiser about my being licensed to carry. He knows I keep a gun in the car but that's about the extent of it, and I'd like to keep it that way.

Oh, and FYI: application was mailed last Tuesday. Check has not yet cleared. I'll keep you all informed if you like? Turnaround seems to have gotten so quick that I'm not sure anyone really cares anymore.

You've got a nice long while to wait. Right now you're probably looking at close to December. :/

I believe it comes from the Department of Licensing and Agriculture. I think it'd be a fairly nondescript piece of mail to the casual observer.

my brother sent his in last week and he was told they are backed up for about 6 months. so it may be a while for you if that is true.

Cant be 6 months. By law they have 90 days to process it. Thats approx 3 months max.

Good to know. FYI the check cleared the 23rd, so we'll see how long it is now.
