It's rather long....but worth the read. What's your feeling on this and what went down ?....

I still can't believe the reasoning behind the 10mm pistol as a concealed carry weapon. This was just handled all sorts of wrong. The court was out to hang this guy.

VERY old topic. His defence attourney had to be a total waste. The prosicution had the jurey believing that hollow points are for murder and how a 10mm is so powerful.

I wish the jurey could have sat through a CCW class.

Spellcheck would not have caught that, as it was spelled correctly.  Grammatically though, however......................

The Harold Fish Story. It truly is a sad situation. How he was convicted is beyond me but it happened. His Defense Attorney should quit in shame for doing such a horrible job.

Wasn't this the case out of Arizona...

The guy was hiking a long trail and came across a guy on the trail with two dogs or something running loose...

The dog attacked Mr Fish and during the attack he shot the dog to defend him-self...

Then the dogs owner came after Harold Fish and Mr Fish shot dumb-ass reckless dirt bag dog owner RT on the spot...

Something of that nature with .10 MM Auto was an evil Pistol with H.P. ammo...

The jury drank the prosectors KOOL-Aid and the defense fumbled the entire case...

Yep,

I remember the whole dam thing...

is he in prison or did he appeal?

I believe he's in prison. I did a thread about this a few months ago in the GD Forum asking for updates from people in AZ or who knew about the case and that was the update I got. It's a shame, the guy was a hard working man with a young child, no criminal record, and now he sits in prison because of this. Truly a shame. Thankfully the good people of AZ recognized this was a shame and changed the law to shift the burden of proof in cases like this from the defendent to the prosecution. Now if we could just get President Bush to pardon Harold Fish when he leaves in January this would be set straight.

Read that article. Haven't read many concealed carry stories but that's definitely the craziest I've read. I hope his lawyers quit.

im not sure that the attorney he had did anything wrong.   what pisses me off is the judge sealing evidence that may have aided his defense.
