looks great Peter.  I can't wait for my DPMS Upper that I ordered from Midway the other day to come in and finish my build out.  I will post some pics of my completed one then as well.  Great job.

This one is an Anvil Arms lower with a Delton kit which uses a Wilson 1x7 barrel.

Can you guys please post some specs along with your builds? I am currently trying to build an ar. I have a specific purpose for my firearm. I would like to use some of the same parts you are using. THANKS! Hope your firearm shoots as good as it looks!

Nice looking build I was wondering why you bought a Anvil arms lower instead of a Spikes (I see your other AR is a Spikes lower) Nothing against Anvil Arms just wondering.

j/k breakin ur balls, nice build. I'm also finishing my spikes lower, tryed out my oly upper on it and works just fine. now i need to shell out some bucks for an upper. which is pretty hard after 12/25

My guess for one reason might be is that Anvil Arms supports the ARFCOM community by being an Industry Partner and Spike does not.

Since you are on this forum, I would think that would weigh heavily in your decision making process.

In all honesty, I went with Anvil on this one to try out something different. I wanted my nephew's rifle to have some individuality to it and getting an identical Spike's wouldn't have done that. However, Spike's lower on my other rifle works and looks beautifully and I think a lower from either place is good to go. However, the parts seemed to go in slightly (ever so slightly) easier in the Anvil, but as you can see I lubed the hell out of it before starting.
