I stopped by Samco in Miami yesterday and was looking around. I was dropping off a copy of my C&R and went to their showroom. The ware house mgr was there and he was showing me guns and telling me about his collection. I was caressing a Yugo SKS and he says, "Let me have them clean it up a bit" 10 minutes later, I said, I'll take it. It was brand new and he sold it to me for "used: Excellent" condition. $159 out the door! It's stripped and being cleaned of the remaining cosomoline. I'll post some pics as soon as I reassemble it! OK, spent the day soaking the stock in Mineral Spirits. Sanded, and finished with tongue oil. Here it is all clean and sparkely  Next up: Swiss K31 Beech stock $100, Walnut $130. Decisions.....decisions.... |
| Hey Lars good deal congrads.When I got my C R I to bought a sks then a lamanit stock M44 then a K31 swiss.It sure is nice to pick up and chick out some of the older guns.At a good price.Today I bought my first AK and will start a threadwith a pic (not a big deal to most but its my first. |
