Does anybody ever go up there form Orlando? If you do how do ya get there I just found out about that range and I am trying to figure out how to get there. TIA Rich Orlando,FL |
| Take 441 until you get to Eustis, then North on 19 to Ocala National Forest.Turn Lt on 40(?) about 10 miles down on the Rt. Look for the firetower (entrance right next to it). Careful going thru small towns, opportunity galore to get speeding tickets. Much more stress free ride/ quicker than 441 all the way to Ocala. Go with a buddy, lots of shooters there most friendly but some locals feel its 'theirs'. |
No sh*t last time this old guy thought he ran the damn place....was telling me that my wolf 7.62 ammo was supporting the Chinese army..I told him it was made in Russia then he said "well the Russian army". He was just trying to be annoying to me and the funny part was he didn't even have a gun was just out there being f*cking annoying! I'm sick of that range allways too many people no matter what time you go...I even got there at 5am on a monday onetime thinking I would be the only one there and then 3 cars pull up. I gave up on that place |
