I had this custom machined for a special project.....don't ask me why, but I was going to add this long FH to a Bushy carbon fiber pistol upper to make a legal rifle out of it..and have something unique in the end. Things went other ways and I sold the pistol upper. It is new, no marks or anything. I have threaded it on a barrel or two, just to see what it looks like. It has never been in place and fired through. David S. the guy that was (or still is??) making the Pheonix flashhiders made this for me...I believe it was around $95 to have made. It is black parked and threaded 1/2 X 28. It is .875 O.D. and is 8.5" long...it will add 8" to the barrel length when in place.
There are 8 slots total. There is a front set of 4 evenly spaced slots and a rear set, with a short un-slotted area in between for strength. This thing is solid. I had him do some aggressive "teeth" at the front.
It is currently threaded on (with blue locktite..the wimpy stuff) and a lock washer to a Bushy QD threaded adaptor (these go for about $25-$30)...the length with the adaptor and FH will make a Carbon fiber pistol up to 16.25" total length.....it would need to be perm attached in 2 spots...FH to adaptor and adaptor to barrel.SPF to 3154k9
It is indexed on the adaptor so the slots are at 2,4,8 & 10 o'clock positions.
I take Paypap (email@example.com) or money order. I can answer any questions you may have and maybe get more pics apon request. Please e-mail me firstname.lastname@example.org
