They won’t have the safety feature (pin) that prevents the bolt from going into battery if it’s not fully locked, but that’s pretty easy to prevent just by making sure the barrel is locked… |

Keeping this alive in case anyone else is working on their own 21 build. Finally got an optic that will work well for this. Headed to the range with 1k of 7.62 next week to have some fun. Attached File |

With the new ARHK coming out from AS Designs, HK21 belt fed 3 pos super safety goodness is within the reach of anyone with $$$ to throw at one |

As well as mod my last RPD kit to use an HK trigger housing, depending on what the trip mechanism looks like. |

I'll be grabbing the ARHK for my HK sub guns to make them 3-pos fun guns but now my desire for a beltfed HK is bigger than ever knowing it will be able to be ran how God intended. Seeing as HK Parts had the last kits available and there are no more (the entire Portuguese Army’s HK-21 bench stock was imported and demilled as they modernized with a newer GPMG)…and HK Parts was asking over $3k for the kit…I’d buy now at $2800. So at $2800 if i wanted one id have to agree to jump on that. They’re only going to get more expensive. 100% agree. That HKP is sold out of their kits means the prices will continue to rise back to the prices we saw before the abundance of surplus kits. My guess is that $5k is the mostly likely next price if any are offered. |

When these kits first arrived bowman’s put them up for $5k when everyone else (Apex/Centerfire…) was doing $1499. Even HK Parts was cheaper…so it wouldn’t surprise me if they’re still sitting on a stack of them. |

The photo bowman’s posted of the complete 21’s in cages at the bonded warehouse (pre demil) also showed barrels. But that was before the barrel ban. Maybe they didn’t destroy those barrels yet and we’ll see them hit the market too if we haven’t already. |

Hk21 kits for $3650 These include a German barrel and the 21 drum. Given that, these are pretty fairly priced. If anyone is sitting on the sidelines, I’d suggest jumping on one or more of these. |

HK21 kit $3200 This includes an RCM barrel. Also a reasonable deal in the current market. |
