It's been pretty pricey to set up for such a shitty shooter.  |

Short mount for ten bucks that replaced the one on my AP5-SD Longer version for fifteen that I put on my AP53 Midwest Ind rail mount for $68, similar in design to the MKE OEM but without the shitty quality UTG Pro low-profile mount for $65 that's probably the best of any of the mounts and still made in the USA I haven't broken the Chinese ones yet but I don't LARP very hard with them. I have one of the old school B&T universal mounts on my first PTR but honestly I like the Chinese ones better, ha. Kinda my plan to run them until they break to see how they hold up. The UTG Pro is what I'd go with if I wanted to skip that nonsense and pay a little more upfront. Just wish Amazon had it so I could get it next day! |

Per the UTG instagram page they made adjustments to the mounts so they will fit HK91 and HK93 rifles now and are starting to ship the updated design to distributors. I’ll wait a bit and buy some for my AP53 and AP51. |

I had/have the older version of the UTG rail on my C93 and on a PTR91 I no longer own. It was solid on both rifles. I was pleasantly surprised, especially at the price point. I imagine the newer UTG rails are better. I'd certainly give them a look. |

I flipped 2 of the little connectors upside down and 2 right side up and it took care of the wobble and its rock solid. |

The stocks that we are putting on are made specifically for the 33/53 series. While they look similar externally they are different internally. |

HK did make a "universal" retractable stock, its longer for use on MP5/MP5-40 and 53 It has a cutout for BHO feature on the left side. Need some help here, I went to install a surefire 4p on my AP53. I had already purchased a KAK Tapered collar. Well it's way too thick. Between the collar and the concave washer surefire wants on there, there's like maybe .3 inches of threads left. The 4p isn't threaded to the end, so I don't think there's enough thread engagement. To be honest I'm not sure how that collar works for any muzzle device unless it's threaded to the end of the device. Thought about just using the concave washer against the taper but I don't trust that either. Anyone else put a surefire on theirs? I know another guy was selling a collar but I can't find a current listing. |
