Anyone use a backpack for transporting a mp5? I've been looking all over for a nice bag that can fit a mp5 with a collapsible stock, but in not having any luck.
Seems like the conquest ibex 20 and falconer are a couple inches short in the main compartment. Maxpedition and hazard 4 seem short too.

I wonder if an HK91/PTR-91 with a telescoping stock would fit in a snow board bag?

Blackhawk Block is a perfect fit with stock folded and 30 round mag inserted. My local gunshop has the multicam one for $75. The retail is much higher.

I have my Z5R SBR with B&T folder and Steiner light forend in it and it has an inch to spare. I used it with an A3 stock and it fit too. Don't know if the buffered F stock will work. I have one small pocket up top and it keeps the SBR in position, and I put my forms in it (and sling rolled up), and another large pouch towards the bottom for extra mags, and extras.

I'm not a fan of Blackhawk generally, but this bag is perfect, tough modular, loaded with features like three carry handles (top and both sides)  all molle inside on both sides, molle on the back, padded straps, heavy cordura, not lined to make it feel thicker. Huge outside slant pocket that I can fit my pistol in.

I've been using it for about 6 months and there is no sign of wear

Mine fit in a timbuck 2 messnger bag, but I do not have a stock on it bc that would be illegal.

I'm running a A3F stock so it's a bit longer than a standard A3, I like the look of the Eberlestock cherry bomb, but the price is pretty hefty. Good options so far! Keep them coming!

I'm intrigued by this backpack. Looks like it would fit an mp5a3 just fine but would not fit and a2.

I use this one too, fits my MP5K clone very well, also use it with a 8" AR, and a 5.5" 9mm AR.

I have an Arcteryx Khard 30 and it feels like it will fall apart soon. Only had it about a year. I wouldn't buy another one. Plus there are no pockets and having to add those pouch thing just takes up more room. Stuff moves around too much in it too. it only works well when stuffed, otherwise the velcro pouches move around and its a mess.
I now use an Osprey Skarab 32 for all my stuff. MP5 fits in it along with other stuff and little things can be organized in the outer compartment. Also it looks more civilian and not "i have a gun on me" which is nice. Also the Skarab you can cinch down on both sides and make it tight even when not stuffed. The Khard you cant do that, you're stuck with a big bin like bag.
