| For those with MP5k's or Reverse stretch, which case do you use. Wondering what size pelican may be best with a side folding stock. |

I just (2 days ago) got a pelican 1495 for my K and it looks like it's going to be perfect. I want it to hold the gun, suppressor and some mags. If you just need it to hold the gun and a mag or two, or the gun, a suppressor and a mag, then I think a 1470 would do the job and be slightly smaller than the 1495. I'm glad I got the 1495 though, combo lock vs key lock means I'll never not be able to get into it, while being reasonable security against kids and such.
Figure out what all you want to put in the case and it will pretty much dictate one, you'll just have to search for pics and potentially even do what I did which was mock the internal dimensions up with a pencil and paper. No pics of mine yet though as I haven't done the foam and only have one mag (waiting on stamp as well before getting all the other furniture goodies). Image search "mp5k pelican case" and you'll turn up a thread or two from various forums with pics, that's also what I did to get in the ballpark. |
