I still have to crown the barrel and remove the whiteout from it. It also needs UMP mags, waiting on hkparts.net for the US made ones.

I'm excited. Form 1 took 33 days.

I'll be posting a write up of the process on my buddy's blog. I did all of the work with the help of my boss, save for the engraving of trust, UMP and refinish to black which was done by Tommy Built Tactical. It was a learning experience and it turned out awesome I think.

Nice looking UMP! Congrats! I am waiting on engraving to get my SBR barrel installed. My Form 1 was about 60 days, but still quite fast.

Mine looks exactly like that. I cut the top of the front sight ring down a bit so my red dot is more visible, pretty sweet mod if you run a RDS.

I was planning on that when I got a red dot for it. If I could swing it, I'd consider one of those 1x ACOGs.
