I just picked up a total of 100 or so, Aluminum marked FMP (Portugal), and Steel marked POF (Pakistan), but 40 or so steel ones have no marks at all.  Any Idea whose these are (were) made by?  I'm trying (short of giving them away) to figure out the best way to peddle them.

Thanks!

Not any mark of any kind.  A couple of diferences from the POF:  Weight, the POF is 9.9 oz, the unmarked 9.6.   Spot welds, the back spine of the POF has 6, the unmarked 5,  Follower, the POF is stainless (?), the unmarked is just steel..  Front spine, the POF shows no spot welds, the unmarked 3.

I can do pictures if that helps, but at such a small value of these, sort of not worth the trouble..

Thanks!!

I have samples of all the common aluminum mags made for the the G3 - HK, FMP, abd Rhinemetall.  All are clearly marked as such.  Are they parkerized?  The steel HK mags are clearly marked "HK".  The steel FMP mags are not marked "FMP" or anything else for that matter.  I got 3 steel parkerized un-marked steel FMP mags with my FMP G3 when I bought it back in the 90's.  The mags have 6 spot welds down the back, and none on the front.  Anybody know if Rhinemetall made steel mags?  The "logo" on the aluminum ones is a diamond in a circle.

My FMP G3S came with a single steel mag and one aluminum mag, neither have any markings at all on them. They are identical to the marked HK mags in my stash so they're not aftermarket clones. They work just like the others so it doesn't matter to me.

Yes they did - same logo as the alloy mags.

I have a few dated '62 and '63.

Well, I am going to try and peddle all of these CHEAP (around $2.50 or so ea).  Is Rifle parts and accessories the best EE forum to put them in?
